Headphones manufacturer Audio-Technica today announced the availability of a new set of ear-bud headphones. The new ATH-EC7 is priced at $249 and looks to be available now.
The ATH-EC7, said Audio-Technica, are an ear-bud/clip-on hybrid design which are extremely lightweight and sport a three-position design for a more custom fit. They are equipped with a 0.6m asymmetrical cord designed for cable management and comfort — the longer side of the cable wraps around the back of the neck so the cable drapes over one shoulder, minimizing cable interference.
Other features of the ATH-EC7 include 15.5 mm drivers with neodymium magnets for reportedly deep bass with extended treble response, a gold-plated 3.5 mm stereo mini-plug and an included protective wallet pouch for transport.
