The BioCert ClipBio Pro 1GB uses advanced biometric technology and encryption methods to secure its data.

Aretmis Solutions Group announced today a new biometric fingerprint flash drive designed to secure portable data. The new BioCert ClipBio Pro 1GB drive is priced at $129.95 and available now.

The BioCert ClipBio Pro 1GB, said Aretmis, uses the latest in biometric technology to secure data. The drive was developed in conjunction with Symwave, using special swipe fingerprint technology they offer. Security functions including advanced encryption methods and a secure biometric algorithm authorize users access to their data on a secure partition on the ClipBio Pro

Other features of this secure flash drive include bundled software for synching information between PCs such as documents and email; a suite of open source portable applications such as FireFox and Thunderbird so that one can use the drive as a portable operating system device, leaving no trace of their work on a host PC; USB 2.0 support; and a built in flip cover.
