March 22, 2007 | by Ian Bell

We compare online photo services from Photobucket, Smugmug, Flickr, Snapfish and Shutterfly.

There are probably 20 to 30 or more online photo sharing sites. So which one should you use? Staff writer Nino Marchetti compares five of the most popular sites to give you an idea of what's out there and if it will cost you anything. The sites mentioned include Photobucket, Smugmug, Flickr, Snapfish and Shutterfly. If you have a favorite site you like to use, please mention it below in the comments section, we would love to hear about it.

I personally like Picasa, and I know my wife uses Ofoto by Kodak (correct spelling). Flickr is pretty good, but I know that they host some adult pictures, so that would have me worried about the kids seeing things. I guess ideally you would want private access so you can limit what the kids see, or who you want to see your pictures right?

Faces.coma llows you to share photos publicly and has several different privacy settings too.

You can also share a lot of other things like music and video.
