Lord of the Rings Online Gets Special

Midway announces The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar will come in a special edition which offers a host of extra precious material.
Midway Games and video game developer Turbine Inc. today announced a special edition of their upcoming massively multiplayer online game (MMOG) The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar. This special edition of the game will price at around $60 and should be available April 24 at the same time the standard edition is released.
The Lord of the Rings Online Special Edition will offer a wide array of extra goodies. Midway Games mentioned the following features as part of more limited edition release: full game on two DVDs, 30 days of free online play, a free 10 day play code to share with a friend, A DVD with videos from Turbine which show how the Lord of The Rings was transformed into a MMOG, a soundtrack will music from the game, an in-game item called The Glass of Aglarel which will "increase your Hope to aid you against the effects of Dread brought on by the Witch-king and his minions", a full color special edition manual and an exclusive map of Middle-earth.
The Lord of Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar, for those unfamiliar with it, lets players explore online the world of Middle-earth as detailed by the books written by J.R.R. Tolkien. The game is described as offering an "incredible dedication to the lore and with an unprecedented level of detail."
"We have experienced unbelievable anticipation and support for The Lord of the Rings Online throughout the development process,” said Jeff Anderson, President and CEO of Turbine Inc, in a statement. “We knew that the game had to provide a terrific experience to the millions of Tolkien fans and we wanted to enhance that experience even more with this Special Edition."
