Facebook has banned a user account after a user attempted to export his contact data using a Plaxo "screen scraper."

Are you aware that Facebook has gotten much of its own growth by doing exactly the same thing. FB enables you to enter your Yahoo! or Gmail id/password in order to import your address book into Facebook so that they can help you invite your friends. Their behavior is hypocritical, imo.
