The AK Octane Chair sports a racing blue and black color and has a number of features designed to give office goers or gamers a greater degree of comfort.
AK Designs, a video game chair company who this week released the next generation of their AK Rocker gaming chair, also announced this week availability through Best Buy of an office/PC gaming chair. Dubbed the AK Octane, this chair is priced at $149.99.
The AK Octane Chair, said AK Designs, is Formula1 inspired in its design and sports a "racing blue and black color combination. Features of this chair include easy rolling urethane casters for moving around on indoor surfaces, three-way adjustable armrests which slide forward and backward, twist left and right and raise up and down, an adjustable and lockable tension recline mechanism, gas piston height adjustment and spacer-mesh upholstery.
"Too many people spend long hours in an uncomfortable, boring office chair, so we leveraged our innovative design from the gaming chair industry to turbo charge the office seating experience," says Scott Warner, president of AK Designs, in a statement. "The result is the AK Octane -- an office/PC gaming chair that is ultra-comfortable, cool, and affordable for the mass market."
