Dell Redesigns XPS 700 Gaming PC

PC manufacturer slaps a new coat of paint on their souped up gaming rig PC as it now supports Nvidia Quad-SLI graphics and Ageia PhysX physics accelerators, among other features.
Dell, besides announcing the XPS M2010, also unveiled today the redesigned XPS 700 gaming desktop. This system starts at $2,310 and looks to be available now, with a special-edition formula red also available in the Americas and starting at $2,410.
The XPS 700, said Dell, now supports Nvidia Quad-SLI graphics, Ageia PhysX physics accelerators and the latest Intel dual-core processors. It sports an aluminum chassis which Dell says is inspired by jet engine and muscle car designs and includes features such as customizable lighting. Do-it-yourself customers can also purchase a kit including only the XPS 700 chassis, motherboard, memory and processor. They can then install their own components and software for a more personalized gaming experience.
Other features of the XPS 700, depending upon configuration, can include up to 4GB DDR2 667Mhz memory, seven expansion slots, up to four hard and optical drives with self tending doors, eight USB 2.0 ports and one DVI port.
