NBA Finals MVP, Dwayne Wade, in conjunction with T-Mobile has announced a customized Sidekick.

Tipping off NBA All-Star 2007, T-Mobile has announced a Sidekick 3 designed by Miami Heat guard and 2006 NBA Finals MVP, Dwyane Wade. Packed with the same great technology, the new D-Wade Edition is the latest in a series of T-Mobiles Sidekick devices that provide consumers with new ways to communicate with style.

My T-Mobile Sidekick is a part of me. I dont go anywhere without it because it keeps me in touch with the most important people in my life, said Wade. I really wanted to design a Sidekick that meant something special to me one that reflects my own personal style and inspiration. Im excited that it will soon be in the hands of people who want a great device that looks smooth.

The differences between the original Sidekick 3 and the D-Wade Edition are mostly aesthetic.  It is white, resembling the "color of Miami's South Beach" and will have copper and tan accents.  Wade's jersey number 3 will be the only detail in gold and the back of the phone will have a realistic basketball-texture for added grip and comfort.

Internally, the phone is the same, so visit DigitalTrends' review (8/10) or view the video.
