A report in a Germany daily paper has Deutsche Telekom's T-Mobile unit clinching a deal to offer Apple's iPhone in Europe starting November 1.

Without naming its sources, the German daily paper Rheinische Post is claiming that Deutsche Telekom's T-Mobile unit has inked a deal to offer Apple's hot new iPhone in Europe (German) starting November 1.

According to the article, T-Mobile will price the iPhone at €450, presumably for the 8 GB model, although pricing for the lower-capacity 4 GB model and prices in other European countries is "not clear."

The report contradicts recent speculateion, fueled by Credit Suisse, thatmobile operator Vodaphone was the most likely to offer the iPhone to European customers. France Telecom and Spain's Telefonica have also been named as possible carriers for the iPhone.

Rheinische Post says it will publish its full story Wednesday, July 3.
