Sony Reveals Metal Gear Solid PS3

Sony is resurrecting its 80 GB PlayStation 3 in a limited edition tied to the upcoming Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
Sony Computer Entertainment has announced that it is briefly resurrecting an 80 GB configuration of its PlayStation 3 video game console as part of a limited edition bundle tied to the upcoming game title Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
The "Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots" PlayStation 3 Hardware Bundle will feature a white-boxed 80 GB PS3 with a Dual Shock 3 rumble-enabled controller, and will include the Standard Edition of the Metal Gear Solid 4 game.
However, most importantly to MSG fans, Sony has confirmed it will be shipping a limited number of special gunmetal-grey PS3 in North America, branded for Metal Gear Solid 4. The grey units have been available in Japan in limited quantities, and have been selling out very quickly: Sony anticipates the special editions will evaporate equally quickly in the North American market.
Metal Gear Solid 4; Guns of the Patriots is due to hit retailers June 12, 2008. It has been rated M for "Mature" by the ESRB. Sony has not announced pricing for the special hardware bundle or the gunmetal-grey edition of the PS3 console.
