Gateway has unveiled a flurry of new desktop PCs, with everything from entry-level systems to overclocked gaming rigs - and even one system running Windows XP.

Computer maker Gateway has unveiled a broad swath of updates to its desktop PC lines, offering a little something for everyone from entry-level users all the way up through high-end gamers. The new systems feature both Intel and AMD processors (including triple-core and quad-core selection), models with over-clocked graphics, and—although most ship with Windows Vista pre-installed—there's even a model with XP on board.

"Regardless of cost or how they are going to be used, each one of these systems offers great technology that will enhance the computing experience," said Gateway's senior manager for desktops Steve Bulling, in a statement.
