Xbox 60GB Hard Drive Coming?

July 10, 2008 | by Christopher Nickson

According to a memo, the Xbox 360 60GB LIVE Starter Pack stand alone hard drive will be coming later this fall, to accompany the 60GB Pro Console to be released later this month.

It looks very much as if a 60GB Xbox hard drive will be coming later this year, to stand alongside the 60BG Pro Console due later this month. The site Xbox family has obtained an internal memo sent to both Gamestop and Blockbuster that seems to indicate the Xbox plans for the rest of 2008.

According to the memo, “in late October/early November (exact date TBD but mostly likely last week in October/1st week in November) we will ship the Xbox 360 60GB hard drive, tentatively called the Xbox 360 60GB LIVE Starter Pack.”
With a 60BG hard drive, three months of Xbox Live, a wired headset and Ethernet cable, it will retail for $99.99.

The memo states that the 20GB hard drive will be discontinued, and the 120GB hard drive will drop in price to $149.99.

OMG!!! Idk bout the rest of you but i bought a 20 gb system and this makes me really mad, cuz now people are getting three times the system space that i got for the same price microsoft should at least let all the people who bought a 20 gb 360 trade in their hard drives and get a 60 gb one, especially since they are discontinuing the 20 gb hdds, this makes me soooo p.o.ed, the least microsoft can do is make the 60 gb starter pack come with a memory transfer cord so that some peoplewho have a buttload of crap on thier 20 gb hdds can tranfer that to the 60 gb, AGGGGGGG IM SOOOO MAD!!!!!!!!
