Harmonix announces 84 tracks for Rock Band 2, including music by Bob Dylan, AC/DC and an unreleased Guns N'Roses cut.

Harmonix has announced the track lineup for the forthcoming Rock Band 2, and it’s a biggie. For headbangers there will be “Let There Be Rock” from AC/DC and – the biggest scoop, “Shackler’s Revenge” by Guns N’Roses, a track from the long awaited Chinese Democracy album.

The other big names include Bob Dylan, Pearl Jam, the Grateful Dead and the Who, a total of 84 tracks, with more than 500 promised by the end of the year, according to the Gamespot blog.

Harmonix has also said that songs downloaded for the original game will be compatible with the new game, and users will be able to port tunes from the original.

The list of songs and bands is awesome. It got me pumped for this new version. I can't wait!

I also can't wait for wireless drums, microphone (is one coming out?) and a better wireless guitar. The wireless guitar for rockband on Xbox360 sucks.

So they're fixing their previously worthless hardware to actually function, and they've got an Axl Rose track that nobody has heard. Those are their selling points? Bob Dylan and AC/DC are not strangers to videogames, so it'd be wrong to note these bands as exclusive or new. Seems like EA's MO- pump out more ****ty content from a to squeeze the blood out of a brand and then move on to the next one.

Don Coleman's song "Women, Whiskey & Rock'n'Roll (celebrating the life and spirit of Bon Scott)" has been airing in 16 countries so far with the latest Network (BFBS) airing it to 12 countries at once.

The song has been well received globally and has been on AC/DC's website with the 'homage' video to Bon Scott (chosen by the band) for about 7 weeks and has had about 7000 viewings so far. www.acdc.com/fromtheband

It has received requests for copies from people like Bob Daisley, former bass player for Ozzy Osbourne, who was a friend of Bon, and also Vince Lovegrove who was a bandmate with Bon in The Valentines ( Vince introduced him to AC/DC). Susan Masino, published author of "Let There Be Rock" and Doug Thorncroft, President of the WA Bon Scott Fan Club both love the song and many of the 'cream of the crop' Aussie Legends who knew Bon say it's a 'ripper' that Bon would love.

You can also check out the song at the dedicated website at: www.myspace.com/doncoleman

It would be great if this song made it to Rock Band 2
