Sony iPod Dock Handles up to 10 Speakers

The AIR-SA20PK serves as a base station to stream your iPod tunes to up to 10 separate wireless speakers, which can be located all over the house.
Ipod docks may be getting pretty close to “a dime a dozen” these days, but that doesn’t mean you should have to buy a separate one for every room in your house where you want to enjoy music. Sony’s new S-Air Play Music system will bring music from a single iPod to every room in your house with the option of adding up to 10 wireless satellite speakers.
The oval-shaped AIR-SA20PK accepts an iPod and plays music locally just like its competitors, but its dual AIR-SA15R wireless speakers can be placed anywhere, even in different rooms, and still play iPod tunes streamed from the dock. It can even handle two different streams at once, pushing AM/FM radio to one room and iPod music to another.
Not surprisingly for such an elaborate system, the AIR-SA20PK runs for $399, which includes the basic dock and two independent speakers. Additional speakers can be added on for $129.99, all the way up to 10.

$399 actually is a damn good price for this, considering that competitors cost about the same and are only a normal speaker system. Not wireless, not up to 10 speakers.
