One of the company's more conservative, mid-priced speaker lines has picked up four new models with range of improvements.
B&W has added onto its popular CM Series loudspeakers with the CM9 three-way floorstanding speaker, CM5 two-way stand-mount speaker, CMC2 center speaker, and ASW 10CM subwoofer. All pick up a range of upgrades from their previous CM-series incarnations. The CM9 and CMC2 both get improved FST drivers with Kevlar cones, while the bass drivers in all units get longer voice coils and stronger magnets than the lower-priced 600 Series.
All CM Series speakers are available in Rosenut or Wenge veneer, as well as new optional polished gloss black exterior that B&W has added at no additional cost. The CM9 sells for $1,500, the CM5 for $750, the CMC2 for $1,250, and the ASW 10CM for $1,500.
