Not content with dominating computer search, Google also leads the pack in mobile search, according to a new survey.
It should probably come as no surprise, but Google is the dominant engine in mobile search in both Europe and the US, according to new figures from comScore.
In June over 20 million Americans used mobile search, compared to 4.5 million Europeans. Of those numbers, 63% of all US searches were carried out using Google. Yahoo came in second place, with 34.6%. In the UK Google recorded a 74% market share, compared to Yahoo’s 16.2%.
