iNotes On Your iPhone

October 01, 2008 | by Christopher Nickson

IBM has released an application for the iPhone that lets your reach your Notes mail via the Safari browser on your iPhone.

Does your company use Lotus Notes for e-mail? If so, your people might be very happy to learn about the new application IBM has released that allows iPhone users to access Notes mail through the Safari mobile browser.

Available as a free download from IBM, it will need administrators to install IBM Lotus Domino Web Access 8.0.2 first.
Given that support for Microsoft Exchange is popular on the iPhone 3G, according to ZDNet, this isn’t a vastly surprising move.

As yet IBM isn’t offering full support, but IBM and Apple are in talks to bring Lotus Notes Traveler software to the iPhone.
