The Samsung Sway gets a 2.0-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and mobile Web, among other offerings, for $70.
Complementing AT&T’s own addition to its budget line of phones, Verizon on Monday announced the Samsung Sway, a budget-oriented slider with a slim profile and well-rounded feature set.
The 101-gram handset includes a 2.2-inch display, stereo Bluetooth support, and a microSD slot for expanding storage capacity up to 8GB. Samsung also claims its built-in 2.0-megapixel camera has been tweaked for better night-time performance with NightShot. It supports, text, picture and video messaging, along with mobile Web access.
The Sway will go on sale on Oct. 14, priced at $70 with a two-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate.
