Yahoo-AOL Deal This Month?

There's a rumor going round that AOL and Yahoo could come to a deal later this month — but the truth is that it's unlikely.
An AOL-Yahoo deal this month? That’s what TechCrunch reported on Monday, saying the word came from people close to the negotiations.
Under the supposed deal AOL would purchase Yahoo’s content business, but not the dial-up subscription business. However, the likelihood is that Yahoo won’t go for those conditions.
AOL wouldn’t comment on the situation, while Yahoo spokesman Brad Williams would only say:
"It's rumors and speculation, which we don't comment on."
