Amazing toiuch computer works well with your fingers, sans mouse

At long last, we have “touched” the new Asus Top ET1602, a touchscreen device that could help pave the way for a future of mouseless computting. The device, which only supports single-touch and not multi-touch ala the Apple iPhone, will be worth the wait when it ships sometimes in the new few weeks.

We were a bit incredulous since the PC uses Windows XP, has a small 15.6-inch screen, and a pokey Intel Atom N270 CPU. Yet, the touch device responded quickly to each finger touch.

The PC comes in white or black, has cool icons for touching up photos, sports Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11n, has a 160GB hard disk, and weighs just 4.3kg. we were impressed by how easy it is to use compared to the trendy but too-small EEE laptop.
