MSI Launches Multimedia Notebook

MSI's Megabook L610 focuses on video and audio featuring a built-in subwoofer and SRS surround sound.
The L610 also supports a 5.1 channel SPDIF output and lets you enjoy a theater-like surround sound environment at home.
In addition to the excellent audio performance, the Megabook L610 is designed with a 200 nit 15.4" wide screen display monitor which offers exceptional clarity.
On cool feature the L610 has it that it allows users to enjoy music even when the power is turned off, just by pressing the button on the front panel to play music. The L610 is also equipped with a 4-in-1 card reader (supports MS, MMC, SM and SD card), 4 sets of USB 2.0, 1 set of IEEE 1394 and PCMCIA. Users can easily link their digital equipment such as DV, Digital Camera and Thumb Drive to L610.
The magnesium alloy and chassis structure of the L610 guarantee top protection and durability compared to other similar devices. With its lightweight design, MSI says the L610 is more compact and portable.
The L610 is powered by ATi's Mobility Radeon 9700 video adapter with 128MB VRAM dedicated graphics memory. The 802.11g Wireless capability also lets users surf on the internet easily. The Megabook L610 will be available in September 2004.
