Envision Annouces Budget 27" LCD

The A27W221, priced at $699, is HDTV ready and has built in 10 watt speakers, among other features.
Envision Peripherals, known for their AOC and Envision brands of display devices, yesterday announced a new "budget" 27" LCD which is HDTV ready. The AOC A27W221 is available now for $699.
The A27W221 is a widescreen model which offers up a resolution of 1280 x 720 and has a 16ms response time. Features of this LCD include PIP (Picture-in-Picture), POP (Picture-over-Picture) and PBP (Picture-by-Picture) functionality, built in 10-watt speakers with surround sound, 600:1 contrast ratio and TV, DVD and PC inputs.
