Digital Foci Showcases New Digital Viewer

The Picture Porter Elite has a 3.6" color LCD, two different hard drive configuration options for storing photos and can double duty as a portable media player.
Digital Foci, a company which makes products used to enjoy digital photos, today announced a new portable digital picture viewer with a built in hard drive and memory card reader. The Picture Porter Elite will become available for purchase in May, with a start price of $499 depending upon the hard drive storage size.
The Picture Porter Elite, said Digital Foci, offers up two storage capacities — 40GB and 80GB — and sports a 3.6" color LCD for picture viewing. Photo specific features of this digital viewer allow users to transfer photos to its hard drive from a variety of memory card formats via memory card slots, rotate, zoom, pan, view EXIF information, play picture slideshows, print to PictBridge compatible printers without needing a computer and connect to a TV to share stored photos on a larger screen.
In addition to digital photo features, the Picture Porter Elite can also play audio formats such as MP3 and AAC and video formats such as MPEG-4 and WMV, record voice, record video directly from sources such as a TV, weighs 11 ounces and has a rechargeable battery.
