Opera to Hit Nintendo DS in Japan July 24

Opera Software has announced the version of its Web browser to the Nintendo DS will go on sale in Japan July 24.
Norway's Opera Software has announced the Nintendo DS version of its Web browser will go on sale in Japan July 24 at a price of •3,800 (about U.S. $33); on the same date, Opera will announce more details about the browser, possibly including release dates for Europe and the United States.
The DS version of Opera will only be available online, and will come with an additional memory expansion card for the handheld gaming systems; presumably, the DS card will contain both the software and the additional memory. The software will enable the Nintendo DS's built-in Wi-Fi capability to connect to a network and begin browsing the Web by going through just two screens.
Opera originally announced a version of its browser for the Nintendo DS in February. At the time, the software was described as making unique use of the Nintendo DS's dual screens, presenting an overview of a Web page on the lower screen while showing a zoomed (and readable) area of the page on the upper screen.
