It was 15 years ago today that the term spam was coined, and the situation hasn't improved.

When will the experts finally accept that the present e-mail system which was designed only to be used by honest people is a total failure in today's criminal-ridden internet, and design a new standard which makes it impossible to hide the source of each e-mail?
Going on the fact that the US FTC hasn't done anything about spammers in the >4 years since the You Can Spam 'law' came into force, I'd estimate that something might be done around 2030 or maybe later.
