Westinghouse LCD HDTVs Get a Spine

LCD TV manufacturer's newest 27" and 32" LCD HDTVs offer a new backside organizational feature which helps to reduce cable clutter and improve picture quality.
Westinghouse Digital Electronics today announced two new LCD HDTVs which make use of a special cable management design. The LTV-27w6HD and LTV-32w3HD are priced at $1,000 and $1,299 respectively.
Westinghouse's new 27" and 32" LCD HDTVs, the company said, use a new design trick called SpineDesign to help eliminate cable clutter. SpineDesign offers access from both sides of the TV's "spine" for all of the video source connections offered. It also incorporates a single board to shorten the signal path from video sources to the panel for better picture quality.
Other features of the LTV-27w6HD and LTV-32w3HD include 10-bit video processing, integrated ATSC and NTSC tuners, an input label function, a black chassis with silver trim and wall mountable frame, 16:9 wide aspect ratio and native resolution of 1366 x 768.
